Anyone on Veendam 8/3

We are making our first cruise southbound on Veendam 8/3. Anyone else booked yet?
Ship leaves at 8PM. We will try to get on about 5-6 pm.....will there be any food available or should we eat before we board? Thanks to anyone letting me know.

There will be food available. They will probably have the Lido open for those boarding.
