drink prices on HAL

Could I please get a feel for the price of drinks aboard the Zaandam? I have heard drink prices on cruises are relatively expensive. (We live in rural Wisconsin where a Bud is $1.50 and a mixed drink maybe $2) I expect to pay more but how much more?
Also, my wife doesn't drink alcohol but does drink soft drinks. Can she purchase a soft-drink card?
We are sailing Dec. 13th to the western caribbean if that would matter.

I paid 4.35 for a glass of house wine,
4.75 for grand marier in snifer
2.75 for a virgin daiquiri
4.25 volka /soda
This was last week and sorry I can't help with pop or beer prices. Hope it gives you idea anyways.

Hi DG, Was on the Zaandam 4/5/03 I just looked at some copies of my bar bills.......For Malibu Rum and pineapple juice 4.75 Call brand Vodka Martini 6.25 House Wine 4.35 and good ole Budweiser 3.75 and yes you can get a drink card for sodas. Oh yeah have a drink for me on the 13th.....it's my birthday....Have a fun Cruise....Rick

Whew....rural Wisconsin drink prices are incredible. We pay more than that for a soda with lunch in the Boston area. A diet coke in our local restaurants is usually in the $2 to $2.50 range.

As to liquor, we have found the prices on HAL ships are about what we pay for drinks in local restaurants. Vodka drinks, better brand Scotch etc are in the $5 range.
