would like to know any car rental co in port everglades?
It is better take taxi from hotel?

I'm not aware of any rental facilities in the port itself but Hertz and Alamo are only about a mile from the entrance.

I took a limo from the Marriott Beach hotel to catch the Zuiderdam. If you are staying at a hotel nearby and only there for a night, a rental car might be a pain since you have to drop it off and still get a taxi to the port. If staying longer, I would go ahead and get the car. There is so much to see and do in Ft. Lauderdale.

All the major rental Co, are within minutes of Port Everglades, and all have shuttles to/from the pier.

We often rent a car, then if its pre cruise, I drop Mrs Kuki and the bags at the pier, return the car and shuttle back.
Post cruise ... the reverse.

Best not to get the routine confused ..

A lot of the hotel/motels in FLL will provide transportation to the port. Some will let you park your car during the cruise, provided of course you spend the night.
