When I toured the Veendam back in April, I noticed a parking lot in front of the ship but I don't recall seeing any booth taking money for parking there. Anyone have any more information on the parking situation for Holland Amercia terminal?

Very valid question as I was confused as well! The ticket booth is located on the far northern end of the parking lot which is accessable after driving through the cruise terminal. We took the Veendam in April, got to the parking lot at about 11:30 and parked along the fence so our car was in the shade all week. Hope this helps. George
Check on the Port of Tampa's website - it is the first place to look for information on parking and parking rates for cruise guests. It will probably have a website, so try your favorite search engine for the website's address. Also, you might want to get in touch with the Visitor and Convention Bureau offices in Tampa - they will very likely have a website with these details, too.
