Amsterdam 8/02 ???

Is there an experienced traveler out there who has wardrobe advice for a newbie ?

Where is Amsterdam cruising? I don't remember off the top of my head if Amsterdam is in Alaska. Or Europe?

I just got off the Amsterdam yesterday. We had a great cruise!!! I definately have wardrobe advice-NO shorts. Long sleeved light shirts work for during the day with a light rain proof coat. For night time, remember the dining room is cold. My dinner wear had a lot of short sleeves or sleeveless and I was freezing. I brought black pants, a long black skirt and 4 different tops for the casual night. I had 1 long dress and 1 gown for formal night. You need sneakers, flip-flops for the pool and dress shoes. I really overpacked and had to lug 5 suitcases for 4 people back to Florida.
Did you plan any excursions? If you need some help with anything write back, we had a great time!
