We are sainling on the "Z" in June and was wondering how soon after arrival in port can we expect to disembark. Especially in Cozumel since we arrive at 6:30am and leave at 3PM. Hoping to have as much time as possible to do several things.
In my experience, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to clear whatever they have to clear and then begin disembarking. Then they disembark those with shore excursions first - this can be a bit time consuming if you're tendering in. But I wonder when they say 6:30am if that's really when the ship arrives or if it arrived during the night - in which case maybe they'll be all clear and start disembarking right at 6:30am!
you can get off sooner if you have a valid reason to, such as an earlier flight.
never book a flight home before noon especially if it an international flight
ask at the purser desk for an early number to get off. usnally around 9;00 to
10:00am you should be disenbark.
