Default Fridges

Can anyone tell me if they have mini fridges on the Ryndam in the suites?

Yes, they do. They will be filled with liquor, beer, soda, goodies, etc. and if you use anything you will be charged. Just ask your cabin steward to have everything removed if you want to put your own stuff in there.

Can anyone tell me if the Volendam has a frig in the mini-suites, along with the mini bar. We will need a frig, not the mini bar. Thanks, gg

Dear DeeDee,

Is it true that you can ask the room steward to empty the refrig for your personal use?

Is there a charge that you know for use of the refrig without their mini-bar contents?

Can you ask of this to be done to the refrig in the Deluxe Verandah (Outside) Room also?

We do purchase items from the outside and storage it in the refrig with little space available.

Thank you,

GLORIA: There is a fridge in the mini-suites on all HAL ships.

Ed S: There is no charge to use the fridge once it has been emptied of the provided contents. You can empty it yourself & place the contents in a safe place (advise your steward you have done this) or you can ask your steward to do it for you. We have done this on our last 3 cruises 'cuz HAL only has Coke products (contractual agrmt) and, since we prefer Pepsi we bring some on with us & keep it in the fridge, along with our favorite bottled water.

On Hal the only ships that have fridges in all cabins are the
Vista class. The remainder of the ships have fridges only in the mini-suites and above.
