Panama Canal
 

So excited!! First ever cruise on Oosterdam end of Sept. Going from L.A. to Ft Lauderdale (18 days) Would love to hear from someone who took the Oosterdam thru the Panama Canal in April (Ft Lauderdale to San Diego). Can't afford many, but i am wondering what excursions we should not miss. Any other advice also welcome!

We didn`t do it on the Oosterdam but did this trip in April on the Zaandam. We only took three of the ships tours as they are very expensive but I would definitely take the tour of Acapulco that includes the cliff divers..it was very good and you get some shopping time in also. In Cabo we took the beach and snorkel tour on a catamaran....excellent, one of the best tours I`ve ever done...it included lunch and an open bar and we had a great time. The other tour we took was a city tour of Cartegena, too scared to do that city on our own!!......jean
