Need advice on electrical outlets in cabin

We will be going on our first ever cruise to Alaska soon, on the Ryndam. Can anyone tell me what the electrical outlets are like in the cabins? I plan on bringing my own hair dryer, and have a curling iron, hubby has electric razor. I have heard the outlets cannot accept the polarized plugs on appliances-which is strange-cause seems like all electrical appliances now have the polarized plugs on them. If this is true-what is a person to do to be able to use these items? Any answers would be appreciated-I'm stressing enough as it is-without having to worry about this! Thanks!!

How about taking along a power strip?

Is that why a lot of people take power strips with them? I thought maybe it was a limited number of outlets for their appliance needs. Not what I wanted to do was bring along more stuff-like a power strip!! Thanks

Instead of a power strip, I have always taken a 6 ft extention cord that has multiple plug-ins. Just roll it up and stick it in a shoe. Less bulky and lighter. Enjoy!
