We're sailing on the Westerdam's Med Cruise starting October 31. 12 days. I rented a Tux package already (it should be in our cabin on arrival). I'd really like to be able to get by with just one other sports coat for the semi-formal nights. I'm also hoping slacks and a nice polo shirt will be acceptable for the other nights.
What do you experienced HAL cruisers think? I don't want to look like a hick, but I don't want to have too much luggage since we have other places on our itenerary after the cruise.
Just returned from an Alaska voyage,,dress code not as closly followed as in other areas so you will be just find. I think the big difference there was for formal and informal nights,,more sportcoats (with ties on formal ) and less tuxes. Older folks had the tuxes. Slacks and polo shirts the norm for casual nights. Happy saiing (I am ready to go again!)
