Default Cabana Experiences on Half Moon Cay???

We're sailing the Westerdam on Feb. 6, and I've booked the Turquoise Cabana for Mrs Kuki and I for the day at Half Moon Cay.

The last time we visited Half Moon these didn't exist.... but look like a pleasant, comfy way to enjoy the day at the beach.

Would enjoy hearing from others who have booked these cabanas previously.. if you don't mind sharing.

Also.. if any CM readers are on this sailing... feel free to drop by for a drink

A few months ago on this board I "reviewed" the experience we had at sky blue cabana last July. Can you search by author? Look for meglet. It's a pretty unusual word.

I have not been to HMC since the hurricanes so can not tell you much.
I was there last in April/04.
However, I also have the turquoise cabana booked for my Volendam cruise in April/05.
Make sure to keep it nice now

I liked its location.

Our family of 4 just returned from Jan 2 cruise on Oosterdam --and we were the happy residents of the yellow cabana! We had a shower, 2 misters, a/c, table and chairs, mini -fridge stocked with our selections of soda, a platter of cut fruit, salsa, chips. whole fruit platter--snorkel kits, floats, chairs and towels......and a more private part of the beach. We also had an open-air jitney deliver us to our cabana..... We did have several cruisers stop and try to drag our chairs away! and a few beachgoers who must have thought we were hosting an open house!
opinion of the family was -we liked having a central location for everyone to deposit stuff and to hang out; liked convenience of the shower; liked somewhat private location on beach--just us on our chairs and no one between us and the water! Also liked priority tender tickets. Boys pounced on food--anytime you are away from the ship for a bit, sources for food become a concern! Bathrooms were close by. We brought our lunches back to our table and ate at the cabana.
somewhat regret a positive review--we probably won't be able to book one in the future once word gets out!
