HMC Cabanas

Is it possible that all the cabanas for the March 6, 2005 Eastern Carribean Cruise have already been reserved? I went to the book shore excursion site at hollandamerica.com and the cabanas all say "Available (Waitlisted). Or is it just too early to reserve them? Please help me! Should I go ahead and sign up for a waitlisted one or not?

It's quite possible that they are all booked already. If interested you probably should get on the wait list.

Thanks Kuki, Do you know if I get on the waitlist for more than 1 cabana to better my chances of getting one? Anne Lee

Anne Lee.. sorry, I don't have an answer to that question.

Seems it would make sense to run a wait list for A cabana, rather than specific ones. But that's not to say that's the way they do it <G>

I had been waitlisted for a cabana and a couple of days before getting to HMC I went to the excursions desk to see if I could get a cabana. I was told that I was still on the list and none were available. I told the staffer that I would take anyone that became available -- wasn't tied to any specific color. The next day I got a call that one was available and did I still want it. You bet! It was great. Just reserve 1 but be sure to check with the shore excursion desk when you get on board...

I booked a cabana back the end of November, 2004 for my April, 2005 cruise. I believe only one cabana is left. They do book fast.
