Default Windstar cafe, please clarify...extra charge or no?

Regarding the windstar cafe, i've seen conflicting answers on this. Regarding the food that is served there, is there an extra charge or not? (This is for the Zuiderdam)

No charge for food (pastries) - but charge for coffees

The price comparable and quality are comparable to Starbucks, but ask for it extra hot. It seems luke warm. Maybe that's in deference to the elderly pax.

1stmate -- I personally do not like Starbucks (far too strong) but I thought the coffee in the Windstar was excellent and cheaper than Starbucks, at least compared to what we have to pay here in Canada. My daughters are Starbucks drinkers and also thought the coffee superior to Starbucks.

The girls are not elderly (in their early 40's) and they found the coffee too hot to drink when they first got it. Don't put down the elderly - you will be there some day! (roll eyes)

Dee, while I'm not A starbuck fan, it's burnt coffee, it isn't too strong. I found the Windstar to be good but not great and agree with the above that it wasn't that hot(temp). My wfie had the frap-like drink and found it too blended, not icy enough.

A pleasant diversion but not worth going out of ones way
