Just got back from St. Thomas, etc...

Things to think about!

*** Bring your own drink cup! ** Big gulp, Sports jug, or something bigger than the 5 oz glasses the ship uses...Insulated best good for pool area too! (Wish I had!)

*** Tipping Idea *** - Want to leave a good tip? Phone Cards for international calls.. Your waiter/cabin stewart loves to call home... Great gift!


Bingo - I would have had more fun and a better chance at winning in the casino.. My bad!

Booze - I know they say don't, but I would bring something next time... You can buy duty free absolute $10 a bottle. (they keep in till the end of trip) and a absolute on the rocks 1 1/4 oz $6.25. They don't pass any savings along to you...! So you deside!

Best Food is in the main dining room, and worth dressing up for! Formal nights have the best food...!

Tux - I rented a tux and it worked out well, less stuff to pack and carry.. Plus ya look good, might even impress your women!


Shore trips - Shore excursions don't have the best value - I spent $80 (big tips included)on taxi ride in Tortola, went several places with same driver he picked us up right on time and gave little tours and scenic roads, over the course of 8 hrs.. 3 beaches (Cruise ship cost $37 PP 3 hrs trip) there were 4 of us and no crowds..Research a little don't go where the excursions go unless you like crowds and commercialized places)

St. Thomas - Book a Sailboat on line.. Sailed to St. Johns, Snorkled, swimming, Breakfest, Lunch, great trip....Plus taxi driver tour of island!
