are there washers/dryers to use on Veendam?

Yes - the older HAL ships have a couple of self-service laundromats -- it's too bad they didn't put them on the Vista class (Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam and, I suppose, Noordam).

Yes, they have washers, dryers and ironing boards on the Venedam, Maasdam, Statendam and the other sister ship (can't remember the name right now). Only the vista class ships do not have self-service laundry facilities.
