Formal Nights

Just received our travel documents for the Westerdam Baltic cruise out of Copenhagen on July 20-30. They state that there will be 3 formal nights, 2 informal nights and 5 casual nights. Does this mean that it would be appropriate to wear my tux on three nights, or is there one "more formal" of the three for that? I have my own tux, but am wondering about bringing another suit or jacket. My wife and I do enjoy dressing for dinner.

Definitely wear your tuxedo for the formal nights. You'll look gorgeous

For informal my husband has worn a woven, silk jacket with a couple of different ties and shirts. Casual nights were Docker style pants and a nice shirt. Have a nice trip.

HAL's dress code for informal is now a jacket and tie optional. About half the men wore ties on informal nights.

Can anyone tell me which nights on this Baltic cruise are formal? It is so port intensive that 3 formal nights seems tough to do.
