Mattresses on Oosterdam

does anyone know what type of mattresses are used on HAL? my friend said it's the most wonderful night's sleep she's ever had and wanted me to ask if anyone knew the brand.

I think if you research the archives (older post) you will find some information about this topic..I agree, I was on the Zuiderdam last October and it was the best bed I ever slept on..If my failing memory serves me correctly it a Sealy that is especially made for HAL but again check..good luck, let us know when you find out and ask if they give a group discount

It is a Sealy made for Holland America, but you can buy them from HAL through their on-line store

A couple of people on another board have bought the mattress set and said they were wonderful - not exactly like the ones on the ship, but close. They have HOLLAND AMERICA printed all over them.

I was going to get one, but being a Canadian would have had to pay duty taxes and it turned out to be far too expensive.

We had them on the Westerdam and they were wonderful - best night's sleep I ever had.

They were Sealy Pillow tops. And wonderful.

I am agree, may be they were the mattresses from some good brand . I also need such type of mattress. Give me some information please.

I haven't heard recently from anyone who purchased one but I know of a few people who purchased them several years ago and they were very pleased with the process. It all worked out very well for them.
