We are assigned room 6620 for a cruise to Alaska leaving next Wednesday.
Any info on location or what to pack for the 14 day land cruise would really be appreciated. We are on the ship for only 4 days, want to try and pack minimally.

Marcyc* - location on board the ship is of little importance - you'll be on deck most of the time. Packing for the land trip is more important - I've done it - layered, comfortable and casual is the way to go (in that order!) Comfortable, good grip, walking shoes are a must - take sunglasses, gloves and waterproof windbreaker. Jeans are ideal for most everything on land - a jazzy top will take you anywhere. Chances are you'll only have one formal night - long skirt and that jazzy blouse will be fine - not too many men take a tux on an Alaska cruise.

Take binoculars and lots of film.
