Re: Other the coffee what does the neptune lounge offer
Since we have booked an "S" category suite on the Volandam it would appear that, per the literature issued by HAL, we are entitled to access the Neptune Lounge. Offerings include (apparently) a Concierge service if required for say: land arrangements involving restaurants and car rentals, or on-board specialty restaurant reservations. Additionally, a morning continental breakfast is apparently available. While having booked a suite that makes us eligible to use the Neptune lounge, rest assurred it was not the motivation for spending the extra money to do so. Quite simply, we needed the extra space the suite will offer to entertain family guests travelling with us.

I don't think they provide soda, as you have to pay for it in the bars. I have heard there is a Cappuccino machine in there, but I will ask my friends who always take a Suite, if only tea and coffee are provided.

Been in category S on Ziuederdam and Westerdam. The Neptune offers coffee, tea, juices and light snacks throughout the day. On Vista ships the lounges have big screen TVs, comfortable furniture, newspapers and magazines. Concierge staff who reside there are very helpful with anything you need.
The best part of a suite experience is the room itself, Neptune is no big deal!
