What happened to "Informal"..

I just received my documents for the Alaskan cruise on the Zaandam...
They have listed: Formal nights 2, Casual nights 5.

Has anyone else noticed this on there documents?

I think because Alaska is more casual than the Caribbean or other itineraries, they may have decided to just have formal and casual. Nowadays, there really isn't that much difference between informal and casual.

Sometimes we will get on the ship and find that the HM has decided not to have an Informal night.

this is good news, indeed. 'informal' kind of got lost -- it was kind of a limbo anyway. i just think it died a peaceful death.

I looked at my docs for my Canada/New England Cruise on the Maasdam, Sept 17-24 and what I have listed is 2 Formal, 1 Informal and 4 Casual.
