We are looking at the aft Verandah Deck 5th deck corner rooms. 5187,5186. There will be 3 adults in the cabin for a 10 night cruise in the Med, only 2 days at sea. The cabin size is 365
I am reading that the decks that have a simlar cabin SS suites on deck 7 are larger but just a regular balcony. These are around 391
What would you recommend. Is there enough storage space in the cabins for 3 people? And is the aft ones big enough?? We will be doing tours during the day but we like having a place to come back and take a nap.

We are already booked on that "DAM" ship!
We very much hope you find the right accommodations and placement on the ship that will meet your overall needs............
My wife and I have booked one of the rooms on the Noordam on the 3-25-06 So Caribbean 11 day cruise. This will be our first time on a Vista Class ship of the HAL Line. We have been on the Rotterdam twice in the past and very much like the HAL Line's style, staff and service.
We have booked one of the SS Cat. Rooms on the Rotterdam Deck, Midship about 4 rooms away from the Midship Exterior Elevators. After having experienced a VA Deluxe Balcony Room on the Rotterdam, we decided to try a larger type of room with a larger size balcony.
We do agree that a room is what you make it and how you use it. Some will use it to sleep and change and spend most of the time on the outside. Some will also entertain in the room and needs the space.
We like to use the room to sleep, change and bum around on the balcony when private time is needed.
A cruise is what you make it, and a room is what you wish to use it for.
Hope we both will like the New Noordam!

We have decided to go with the deck with the Neptune lounge on it. It was more $ but it did have a larger balcony. We are in the cabin more than the average people. And with 3 of us- need the space in the cabin.
