Lost Personal Effects

It was most disappointing to discover, following disembarkation from the Volendam (February 1), that my prescription sunglasses/case were left behind in our suite. Upon arriving home, an e-mail was dispatched to HAL's Lost & Found with the hope they would be found and returned.

Well, surprise, I was speaking with a HAL representative today and the glasses/case were found and are on the way to me. I am almost speechless, not because I ever doubted they would have been found, but because as with everything about HAL they never seem to disappoint. This was our 3rd cruise on HAL and each time it like going home to visit an old friend. I can't thank those individuals enough who were responsible for rectifying my oversight and look forward to sailing again soon on HAL.

I'm glad it turned out that way, I have to admit that when I first started reading I thought the case was gone but nice to see that some companies out there still have top notch service like HAL.

Kuddo to HAL's crew/staff. It just goes to show that there are a lot of honest people out there.
