Default Christmas Cruising

Does anybody here have a Christmas cruise booked? If so, which one?

Not this year. We have done a Christmas cruise for about the last 6 years but decided this year to stay home. If we had booked a cruise it would have been either the Volendam or the Zuiderdam.

Do you have a Christmas cruise booked and if so, which ship?

I really want to book a Christmas cruise as I have 10 days off in a row -- just can't seem to find one that fits my needs

Open to suggestions!

well, I suppose the first question what itinerary do you like, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Australia, Panama Canal, and South American are what I found for December, and how long a cruise do you want, 7 days, 10 days. Do you actually want to be on the cruise on Christmas or just around Christmas, etc.

Several websites have cruisefinders if nothing on HAL fits

Yeah, I was just researching that. The airlines are charging an arm and a leg to fly you to the cruise ship departure points around Christmas time, so I've been researching the trips out of the local San Diego/LA ports.

You're very lucky to live near enough the water that you can avoid the high costs of flying! That adds quite a bit to the cost of traveling for us land-lubbers.
