Default Booking a room on Zuiderdam

My husband and I are cruising to Alaska in June on Zuiderdam and we could use advice on what to look for when booking a room. Right now they only have VA rooms on the Navigation deck at the bow, but we can get on a waiting list for others. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.

You cant go wrong with any room on the Zuiderdam! Though a room by the Lido could get a little loud....we were just on her for a second time and had a VF room midship on the 5th deck...quite and very nice. Hope you have a great time the staff is TOPNOTCH!!!

Huh! There are no cabins on the Lido deck - this is where the pools and Lido restaurant are. The VA cabins are on the Navigation & Rotterdam decks.

I think these cabins are fine.

I'm not sure what the price difference would be, but I think the aft VA and VB cabins would be superb for an Alaska cruise. The verandas are much larger and afford a magnificent view from the back of the ship. If your budget allows it, the SC corner suites on Zuiderdam are just awesome and would be perfect for Alaska. I'd book it soon, because I have a hunch that these are very popular cabins that sell off quickly in Alaska.
