Does anyone have experience with booking balcony gaurantee rooms. We have booked one on the Noordam for March 21st of this year. I son't know why I suddenly got so gutsy, but I am starting to get a little worried with some of the stories I have heard about steel balconies and such. Was this a big mistake? Any help or stories about this subject would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
If you booked a guarantee that you'll be happy with you should be fine.
For instance, if you booked a regular balcony cabin (not an obstructed view cabin) at the very least you should have a regular balcony cabin.
You may be way forward or way aft where you might feel more movement than amidships, but you should be okay!
Let us know which cabin you get and how much you enjoyed your cruise!

It really doesn't make much difference as long as you booked the catagory you will be happy with. If a balcony is what you want and you don't care what deck or location, spot worrying. I will admit I was a little disappointed when we didn't get upgraded at all and talked to people on the ship that had booked lowest inside cabin and ended up with a balcony, but such is life. We had no complaints. Our cabin was fine and everything worked out. Don't let all these stories scare you. NMnita
