Does anyone happen to know about G category rooms. main or a deck- I am worried about being up so front ( ship movement) and having a porthole instead of a window. Can anyone help me with location and ship movemnt.
Those cabins are far forward, so if seas are rough and the ship is pitching then you'll certainly feel more motion there than at midships. I like the feeling of being at sea. Others are more prone to mal de mer.
I've never had a porthole/window cabin, so I can't tell how you'd like it or not. For me, personally, I would not. I want to go outside and breathe the fresh sea air, and it's more convenient to do it in just 3 steps rather than having to get dressed to go up topside. But that's just my preference.
