Default HAL Daily Agendas (like the Carnival Capers)

What are the daily agendas called on HAL? And does anybody have some they could scan and share?

Thanks.

Daily News - nothing fancy! They used to have a Dutch name but I can't remember what it was.

What is really amazing to me is that they print the darn thing in other languages for those in need. The daily neswpaper (sortof) also has issues geared to the homeland of the pax. I've seen British, German, and Canadien. Cool. Huh?

They don't really have a name other than Daily Program, but the nice thing about HAL's daily programs is that while they contain all the info about hours for each restaurant, bar, etc., as well as a feature article or two ("Meet Your Captain or Cruise Director), the actual daily schedule portion of the large sheet has a perforation allowing you to tear it off. This way it folds up real nice in your back pocket or whatever, and you can carry it around the ship with you throughout the day. This way you are sure not to miss any activity that you really wanted to attend, but forgot when and where it was being held.

On Princess it's "Patters."

Maybe we should have a name-the-daily-paper contest.

How about:
"HAL Happenings"
"The Daily Compass"
"The Daily Bugledam"

Before it was translated from the lovely Dutch name to English, it was called "Dagelyks Nieuws". It has been called "Daily Program" for years now.

They are definetley called the Daily Program.
I scanned one from the first day onboard the Zuiderdam in May 2005. I couldnt find my Noodam ones, but theyre exactly the same. I also have the Daily Programs from when we were docked in Half Moon Cay and Costa Maya, just let me know if you would like to see those too!

My vote's for HAL Happenings. Or maybe even DAM Happenings. Has a nice ring to it.

Unless they go back to the Dutch Name, which seems highly unlikely, I don't see any reason to change to something cutesy. 'Daily Program' works just fine IMO After all, that is what it is. It is the Daily Program.

And that "Today at a Glance" section is the one with the perf. You can just tear it off, fold it, and carry it around in your pocket all day, so you never have to worry about missing out on something you wanted to do.

That's the feature I like the most about HAL's daily programs.

Thanks to everyone for your input! And thanks for the scan. That will give me some idea as to what the activities are offered on HAL. This is quite the decision I need to make for a trip in January.

Thanks everyone!
