That's good to hear, especially after some have told stories that were less than flattering of Ship Services. The combination of this department, reservations and the website are the "front door" of HAL, and should be as flawless as humans can make it in the customer service area. It really sets the tone for the cruise to come.
I have called Ship's Services many times over the past few years and I've never had a bad experience. I've read many people's posts about their bad experiences, but it's never happened to me.
There have been times they didn't have an answer for me and referred me to another department which was equally uninformed or unable to help, but this has nothing to do with the fact that they have always been courteous and friendly.
I think what has stood out for me each time is the ability of the representative to give me the impression that fulfilling my request was as important to them as it was to me.

I have emailed Ship's Services quite a few times for different reasons.
Once, I wanted to organize the Pinnacle Grill, another time I wanted to order some wine for our cabin and thirdly I needed to organize with the appropriate person our Roll Call get together on the Veendam.
Each time, the return emails have been prompt and everything was arranged without any fuss.
I cannot fault their service!
