Here are a few videos I took on my cruise and then formatted for the Web. I hope they work well enough for your home connections:
Nice. I particularly like the one of the SCUBA diver feeding the fish.
Gotta get back under the water. I got certified but only did a couple of dives since. Gotta plan for another on my Hawaii/South Pacific cruise next January. It is so indescribably beautiful under the sea.
I personally like the stingray cove from the private island - Half Moon Cay. After having spent 90 minutes on a bus and barge, each way, to get out to the middle of sting ray bay in Grand Cayman, only to be out there with 600 other people, I can say this is a much better and easier way to swim with the fishes. Just look how friendly they are!!!

You must be someone "special" to be allowed to visit the engine room. Those tours are now a thing of the past.
When the Old Westerdam was bought by HAL, the Chief Engineer was a good friend of ours and DH and I had a complete tour. After she was streched the same CE was on board and gave DH a tour - I declined. Once was enough - the noise is deafening down there.
Anyway - we did not see this engine room, just the control room. but I have been in them before. Yes, this sound is deafening. Especially the screw driven propellor ships like the old Westerdam.
I went in the one for the Norway, one of the last direct diesal driven ships, and MAN! That scene was like those old cartoons from world war II where everything industrial is made to look 100 times bigger than life. Big hammers and pistons & crankshafts and grease everywhere! You don't see grease on these ships with azipods.

I have touched them in Grand Cayman, but I have to say this is a much better way to commune with them, much less crowded and much easier to get to. They are very friendly, and do feel like velvet, especially the underside.

Cool , but just found the water there in the HMC pen more prone to cloudiness with traffic vs the bar at SRC. Haven't seen the videos yet - did you also find those reef balls placed in the swim area by the waterpark? Regular critterville now. 8)
