Default Statendam Sept 2007

I am a 62 year old single male booked on the Statendam 28 days from Vancouver to Auckland NZ in Sept 2007. I have never cruised HAL before, but done several cruises on RCL and Celebrity and a couple on Norweigan. I have also never been on a cruise longer than 12 nights.

Any comments on
1)The ship and how it compares to RCL in comfort, cleanliness, quality of food and service.

2)How do you feel about these longer voyages - does it get boring?

3)As a smaller ship, is there more concern about motion? Are these smaller ships stablized as well as larger ships on which I never experience any degree of motion discomfort.

Any comments greatly appreciated - either by PM or on the general board.

Thanks Mike

RCL- Brilliance - Transatlantic April 16th 2007 - 4 days and counting!!
