Default massdam out of Montreal

Has anyone embarked out of Montreal.

I am thinking of this cruise since I live in Montreal
I am not sure if it is worth the extra for a balcony since I
think that it will be too cool in June Or September.
Has anyone been on the Canada/New England Mtl to Boston

Our friends did this exact cruise in October 2005 and loved it. We did it out of Boston last October on the Jewel of the Seas because it is a port intensive cruise and our last day was a much needed sea day. We loved it so much we want to do it again soon but on a 10 or 12 day for some RR too. We had a balcony and yes it was cool but worth it when in port.

I also live in montreal, and I haven't yet cruise out of montreal.
I should , I would be saving on airfare cost. I am thinking about next year
cruising out of montreal on the 15 day cruise, mtl. to fort Lauderdale
next Fall. And spent a few days in florida

I was on this cruise from Montreal to Boston in late September and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a verandah and we used it quite often even though it was chilly. We watched whales and going through the fiords was like being at Disney World. But we DID use our verandah quite a bit. A light jacket was just right. Hope this helped.

We have done this cruise 4 times and are booked for a set of back-to-backs to do it again this August. We will sail Boston to Montreal, stay aboard and sail back to Boston. We love this itinerary and Maasdam and her crew are fabulous. She's a great ship. As to veranda.....we always have one and absolutely enjoyed ours very much doing this particular itinerary.
