Do the curtains pictured on the HAL outside statetoom website close all the way between bed and sofa/vanity area for complete privacy? partial? or are they only for show? Thaks for info.
They did on the Veendam. They provide a great dressing area between the bathroom area and the bedroom area so that it's not necessary to hog the bathroom for getting dressed if you have three or four people in the cabin. Someone can be changing while someone else is on the bed, and a third is showering.
There is a curtain between the bedroom/sitting area and the bathroom/hall which closes all the way but the curtains shown in the picture of the Zaandam, do not close all the way - they only close to the end of the sofa on one side and the dressing table on the other. AT least that's the way they were on the Rotterdam VI and the Zaandam and Rotterdam VI are sister ships.
