Hi. You won't be alone, My name is Hilary and my friend Suzanne and I will also be on that cruise. We will be coming from Philadelphia. We are both 57. I am divorced and Suzanne is still married. We have cruised on HAL many times so looking forward to the cruise. We love sea days and will get eight on this cruise. See you on board.
Thank you so much for answering my post. I will be looking forward to meeting you and your friend Suzanne. Do you know of anyone else who would like t o share a cabin. Since I am solo I have to pay additional price. Thanks much ezlivin4 at aol
Hi Macie~~I wish we could have coordinated this sooner.
We are taking this exact cruise, but not until April 2008.
If you ever want to MOB, let us know. We usually go on a cruise every year, and we leave from San Diego.
I am also retired, DH next year.[/b]
HAL Statendam 2x
HAL Ryndam 2x
I usually cruise once a year as well. You said "we" do you travel with your hubby or another women. I am going to Canada Sept 2nd with a Collette Tour which should be fun. Have not done a land tour in a very long time so I am looking forward to it. If you wish to email me at my name is ezlivin4 at america on line. Would love very much hearing from you. Do you live in Calif? I live in northern Calif. Thanks much for writing
If I was not being "forced" to go back to school for upgraded job training, I'd be with you in a heartbeat. I absolutely love Hawaii. But, unfortunately, for the next year (15 months actually) I'm gonna be real restricted as to when and how long I can cruise. I can't miss any class time. I still can't believe that at the age of almost 52 I gotta deal with this crap.
Get on as many message boards and roll calls as you can between now and November, and I'm sure you'll have an experience just as good as I did on my Hawaii cruise. You'll have a whole group of ready-made friends from the moment you step onboard.
We're booked on this cruise with my wife, mother, sister and mother-in-law. My MIL is in her 80's and is very independent (she booked her own cabin).
My mother needs a wheelchair to get around the ship.
My sister went on her first cruise in March with us (Oosterdam) and fell in love with cruising - so the first thing she did when she got back was book this one.
On the CruiseCritic web site there are very few posters for this cruise as well. Maybe the internet cafe will be empty? (haha)
