Default Pinnacle Grill b'fast

I just read an earler post about suite passengers being able to eat b'fast in Pinnacle Grill for no extra charge. Which categories qualify for this? We are thinking of joining a group for an Alaska cruise on the Oo. The only S class cabins available through the group are SS and SY. Do either of these qualify, or both, or neither? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Sorry, no. SS and SY do not have the privilege of eating breakfast in the Pinnacle. Only PH, SA,SB and SC.

Only the suites that qualify for Neptune Lounge privileges get the Pinnacle Grill Breakfast ones as well. These are SA, SB and SC, as well as the penthouse suites. In fact, it is only these category suites that are true suites anyway. The other "suites" are actually what would be called "mini-suites" on any other cruise line, and thus they don't come with any of the suite "privileges."

But don't worry ... you can still have a great cruise anyway. I always do.

Blue skies ...

QUESTION. So what would the required dress code is there to eat breakfast in the Pinnacle grill. Also. What kind of Hors d'oeuvres can we expect in the Neptune Lounge. Finally, what other priveledges do suite residents get.

Dress code for breakfast in the PG is casual; I usually wear shorts or slacks and a golf shirt or a blouse and DH wears either shorts or dockers and a golf shirt. It's the same dress code as if we were going to the Lido or dining room for breakfast.

Hors d'oeuvres are not served in the evening in the Neptune so we either order them to be served in our suite or go to one of the bars before dinner if we want them.

The list of amenities for the Suites and PH are listed in any of the HAL brochures. There is a long list which includes free laundry/dry cleaning, umbrella & binoculars for your use, VIP party with the Captain, priority boarding and tendering, and many other amenities.

The Neptune also has many cold items for breakfast, like cereals, smoked salmon, fruit, breads, etc. There is always finger food, little open faced sandwiches, fruit, cookies, etc. during the day if you are hungry and a coffee machine which serves great cappuccino, regular or decaf coffee, tea. Just help yourself and enjoy!

Pinnacle Grill breakfast is very, very nice. Lovely setting and excellent service. The menu is the same as the main Dining Room. While we have enjoyed some breakfasts in Pinnacle, we almost always prefer room service. Such a treat to have our breakfast delivered and eaten in the comfort of our cabin or veranda.
