That is great but I can't see how they can improve what we just experienced 12-23 to 12-30.

Dan, I agree that HAL's food is good but how great that they are going to try to actually serve some local dishes and use local fish! This is long overdue in the cruise industry. Too bland too long!! Offer variety and spice for those who want it

Well, maybe I was lucky enough to be on the "test" cruise.
Mexican Riviera, 12-23 to 12-30....PAH-LUNTY of fresh fish and MessCan flavor.

I had smoked salmon for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Crab salad on two occasions (REAL crab)

The Halibut was cooked, like, eleventy four different ways.

..and Lobster Tails out the Ying Yang.


I could go on and on....and eventually will.

If they could toss in coconut shrimp, I would smile:) The idea of adding local cuisine to the menu is a great idea....

Always some kind of shrimp every day!!
We fell in love with coconut sherbert and kept going back to find it. They only had it once.
