Cabin selection/Veendam

We are thinking that Verandah Deck BA 113,117,119,121,127 or BA 130,132,138,140,142 would suit our purposes.

They have an inside cabin across from it which we would also get to house the kids.

Has anyone stayed in any of these or know of any noise/verandah problems like view obstruction, etc?

Any help would be appreciated!

Also......new to this forum....Can you search the board for information?

These are great cabins and there is no "view obstruction".
When the Veendam first came out, we often took one of these BA cabins or the BA's at the back of the ship.

They are close to the stairs and elevators and would be perfect with the inside cabins right across the hall to house the kids.

Just received the 2009 Alaska book from HAL- no prices just ships and dates- and the ship is now the Ryndam.

The Ryndam has the same layout as the Veendam, correct?

The Veendam and Ryndam are sisterships.
