Default Cabanas

Does anyone know whether or not you get the chilled fruit in the Lido Cabanas?

What chilled fruit? Would you explain more, please. Did you read this somewhere?

The airy, tented cabanas are located on Observation Deck in an area called the Retreat and around the mid-ship pool on Lido Deck. Furnished with modern woven chaises, ottomans and upholstered settees, all cabanas come stocked with bathrobes and plush towels, handheld fans, an Evian spray mister and iPods(TM: 88.60, +1.71, +1.96%) preloaded with great music. Chilled waters are available and guests can look forward to iced fruit skewers in mid-morning and frozen grapes, chocolate-covered strawberries and a glass of champagne in the afternoon.

I'm not sure whether you get the things mentioned above in both the Lido cabanas and the retreat cabanas.

I called Ship's Services and the gal I spoke to said for a 7 day cruise, you do get all those amenities for the Lido cabanas - price is $199.00

The ones on the Observation deck are $299, which include breakfast and lunch.

I don't know how anyone can sit in one of these Lido cabanas all day long when the ship is in the Caribbean. It's bloody hot on that deck, even if the dome is open.

I see you are going at Spring Break - lots of luck with all the kids running around the deck screaming, yelling and jumping in the pool.

ENJOY!

Thanks, DeeDee
I hate sitting directly in the sun, I always grab a chaise and find a place in the shade. My least favorite part of cruising is dealing with chairs and chair hogs or being forced to "reserve" one myself. My wife and I are pretty frugal, but we're not hesitating to fork over the cash for a cabana. We don't need it all day or all week, but I've already read that it can be iffy booking them by the day once on board.
