Cruising 14 days over Thanksgiving....

Will there be too many children or ecause of the length of this cruise will there be fewer? We are on the Maasdam if this matters.

Logic would say for a fourteen day cruise, there probably will not be many children. We board the day you disembark.

Are you sure your fourteen day cruise is not being sold as two -seven day cruises as well as a fourteen? It is posible it could be.

Sail... it is sold as a 14 day, but in astrange way.... it is 14 days starting in Fort Lauderdale, or 14 days starting in Barbados, which is seven days into out 14. So is this two seven days or two fourteen days, and would that make a difference to the number of children?

The length of the cruise does make a different on the number of children on board. to take a child out of school for 2 weeks is a long time.
Also it would cost alot more for a 14 day instead of 7 days.

Ahhaaa.... That is why I asked. There will be embarkation and disembarkation in Barbados. But it will only be between 200-300 and will not make a big difference for you.

We are booked for that cruise when you disembark.
I would not expect a ton of children as I do not think North Americans can buy the seven days FLL to Barbados. I think it is only being marketed to Europeans....mostly British. They can fly non-stop from London to Barbados. They will do 14 days roundtrip Barbados.


I do not think many families would want to board in FLL and disembark in Barbados to fly home with children. The price of air would be very high. I'm not sure if people from U.S. or Canada are being allowed to buy that cruise though I think not.

On the other hand, if that is what it takes to fill the ship, they are going to sell the cabins, of course.
