Default half moon cay tenders

i LOVE half moon cay, but have missed it a couple of times myself due to choppy seas. HOWEVER, on my last visit, dec.4, they were using new huge tenders, two decks high, they were not the usual ship tenders but were based on the island. there were two of them. they loaded and unloaded from the front, at level with the gangway. no more steps down, landing, and fighting a bucking ship's tender. it was great. maybe hal has solved its problem.

They've had those tenders for a year or more now. Each has a name, but I can't remember what they are. I think one if Halve Moon. They sure are a lot better than having to use the ship's tenders.

The tenders were there in 2006. They are the: Henry Hudson, Anne Bonny.

Usually, if there are two ships at the island on the same day, the larger ship uses the Henry Hudson and sister and the smaller uses their ship's tenders.

We were in last month on Maasdam and used the Henry Hudson as we were the larger ship....... That wouldn't happen often.

The other ship in was Prinsendam.
Personally, I prefer using ship's tenders. But that is only my personal preference.

The only thing I didn't like about the 2 larger tenders, It take longer to fill up and you are waitng longer to go ashore!
