Default Sea Day Temps

We are on the Feb 20 Hawaii sailing on the Zaandam, and I have heard that the air temperature on the sea days to and from Hawaii is "cool".
Help!!
What is the expected temperature range? We enjoy walking the promenade deck a couple of times daily, and want to make sure we have the proper clothes.
I realize there can be an extremely varied range of temps, but would appreciate a ball-park idea of the usual norm.
Thanks to anyone for any advice they can give!

I just got off the Westerdam and it was cold onboard the ship, so I would take something long-sleeved just in case anyway. Layering!

yes, it may be a little cool, though Hawaii is never really cold, this is the coolest time of the year I think. At least from our experience. We have been there about every season and certainly Feb was the only time it was on the cold side as well as a little rainy.

Thanks for the help...can you be a little more specific about your definition of "cool". I'm in the middle of a New England winter, and right now my definition of cool is not anywhere on the Hawaiian scale of cool (at least I desperately hope not!).

I think 40 sounds warm right now, with a snowstorm knocking on our door!

have to laugh, we are in NWA with an ice storm and agree with you, but remember warm in New England would feel chilly in Hawaii. Bring a wind breaker and of a couple of sheat shirts. No you do not need anything like a heavy jacket. Probably figure around 65 degrees or a little cooler on deck, Also you may not spend that much time outside when on the ocean. We usually do inside activities. When you are in port it won't be chilly, probably in the mid 70s but there could be rain or showers.

Thanks, Nita!
That's just the help I was searching for. The port days are easier to judge, since it's possible to research average temps based on weather history, but the sea days were a challenge.
Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Sorry about your weather...I find ice to be much worse than snow, so I'll stop complaining
