Has anyone been on the Veendam. We are looking at a trip to Alaska and have sailed on larger Princess ships but not these mid size HAL's. Does the smaller size make a difference...Also my wife and I love to dance. How is HAL on ballroom dancing?
We were on the Veendam to Alaska last May and have sailed the ship many times. We have never sailed Princess but just looking at the huge Princess ships and seeing all the passengers disembark in the ports makes me glad that I'm on a smaller ship.
There is dancing in the evening before dinner in the Ocean Bar & the Crow's Nest....... late at night the Crow's Nest turns into a disco with a DJ.
