Default Hotels with Shuttle Service in Ft. Lauderdale

Just wondering if anyone can reccomend a not too expensive hotel in Fort Lauderdale with shuttle service for picking up at the airport and also dropping off at the ports? We are getting in the day before our cruise. Thanks to all who help out with this.

Anyone know about the Rodeway Inn and Suites? Has a shuttle service and breakfast for $99 a room when booked online. Good or bad??? It is for only one night so not looking for too much just reliability.

It got mixed reviews on tripadvisor.com You can go there and check what others think of the different hotels in the area. Our tablemates like the Sleep Inn in Dania which is still close by.

Why not try priceline or hotwire.com and bid for a hotel there...you can go to biddingfortravel.com, and see what rates are being accepted, then give them a try.

This is just my opinion, but, unless someone had points for a hotel, with so many hotels in Lauderdale, and the ability to to perhpas score a real deal on the above sites, staying in the port area, is the place to be. Restaurants, and sevice stores, are all right there, and a cab to the port, which is so close, is inexpensive.

Dania, & Plantation, for example, are not really close by.

Trip, with her book & tea!

We are also looking for a FLL hotel with parking and a shuttle to port. I have found two that if you stay one night, you can take the shuttle to the port. They do not pick up at the pier and back to the hotel to pick up your car, you need to take a taxi. We live in Florida and can drive to FLL in 5 hours, I think that is what we are going to do. This seems like a lot of expense for one night.

We have stayed at Hampton Inn. It has shuttles for both the airport and Pier.

We have stayed at the Amerisuites in FLL which is now remodeled and is called the Hyatt Place. They provide a shuttle from the airport and to the pier.
Transport was free when it was Amerisuites, I believe it still is.
We booked it on Valutrips they have the best rates usually.

We stayed at the Holdiay Inn Express Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center on the 17th Causeway. They offered shuttle service from the airport and to the pier. We enjoyed walking up to the causeway bridge and watching it being raised for the boats to go thru. Have a great trip!
