Westerdam

Anyone been on the Westerdam lately? We sail on Nov. 15th and are looking forward to it. Never had a bad cruise - some just a bit better than others.

Westerdam is a grand ship, we just returned from a 7 day West Caribbean cruise. The food was outstanding as well as the service. This was our 15th cruise, first time on the Westerdam. We're very familiar with the Noordam and felt comfortable on this ship as it is a sister ship. The Recreation Director was the best ever. Relax you'll really enjoy it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. We are certainly looking forward to the trip. Have one couple going with us that have never cruised on HAL. Do they still have Happy Hour by the pool from 4 to 5? Bread pudding, yummy yummy.

Hello again, not sure about the happy hour as we're not pool lovers, the only time we visit the pool area is for the great grilled burgers, franks & fries. Yes, yes they serve the bread pudding at the ice cream counter in the Lido Buffet, better controlled that way, it is the very best. Any other questions just pass them along........happy cruising!

We've done a great many cruises on HAL and have repeated most of the ships in the line a number of times but have not yet sailed Westerdam.

We have finally booked to sail Westerdam and are really looking forward to it. There is absolutely no reason why it has taken until now to sail that ship, but happy we are correcting the situation.
