Statendam - NB/SB Vancouver BC to Seward

Can anyone tell me the procedure when you are booked on a NB/SB cruise, a back to back? Do you have to disembark? If so, how long are you generally off the ship? If you are staying in the same room, do you have to have your luggage packed and removed from the ship?

No you don't have to disembark, but you may have to go through some kind of Customs or Immigration, I'm not sure.

You will receive a letter in your cabin outlining what the procedure is & a transit pass so that you can get off the ship and spend the day at your leisure or you can just stay on the ship.

If you are staying in the same cabin you don't have to do anything about your luggage - no packing, unpacking - just enjoy your day.

Enjoy Alaska - it's beautiful.

Thanks for the info Dee Dee. We have been to Alaska several times and this is our second cruise there. I love Alaska and would really love to live there. We own land there, just need to win the lottery so we can build there!!
