HAL WAlk for the Cure

Can anyone tell me if HAL is currently doing the Walk for the Cure? I know that Carnival does it, Princess does, and I believe it is fleet-wide on Carnival-owned ships, but just checking. I've done several walks so far and want to do another one on the Noordam in May. Breast Cancer patients NEED our support!

Yes, Donna, HAL still does it, at least they did it on the Eurodam last Christmas.

I think there may be some pictures on HAL's Blog site of walkers on one of the ships. Holland America Blog

Good for you. We all have to support Breast Cancer and I do this through my donations to the Breast Cancer division of our local hospital and Cdn Breast Cancer Foundation.

I was on the Volendam in 2008 and we did a Walk For The Cure .My feeling is that it will be on every HAL vessel.You can certainly call them directly

Every HAL cruise we've been on (many).... they have held Walk for the Cure. They take their contribution to this cause very seriously on the ships and off. They even have a walk with employees from Seattle Office at least once a year.
