When you cruise agian what would you do different?

When you cruise again what would you do different?
* Pack different?
* Plan different?
* Pick a different stateroom?
* Pick a different dinning room time?
* Choose a different sailing itinerary?
* Spend less on ?????
* Spend less on photos?
* Drink less?
* Eat less?
* Book a cruise longer than the last one?
* Do more or less in port excursions?
* Stay on board the ship at some ports?

Add your own comments on what you would do more or less. Cruising is fun but everyone has their own do and don't do ideas.

Cruise #2 for us is coming up and we have chosen a different itinerary; we're going to pack differently ... (take less clothes because of the climate); stick with the open dining which we loved ... (fun having different tablemates each night); spend a lot less on shore excursions... (spend some time on a beach since we'll be in the caribbean instead of flightseeing, etc); we'll probably eat and drink the same ... (we're on vacation - why not!); and we plan to spend some late night time on deck stargazing.

The second cruise is always to exciting. Are you going on HAL again?

Yes the packing less is something I try each cruise to convince my wife into doing. . .not much luck. We may try the open dinning on our next cruise. Last 2 or 3 cruises we have only eaten in the dinning room 1 or 2 times. Just look at the posted menu and we find some of the same items are being served on the buffet.

We are going on HAL again, the Ryndam to the western caribbean. We took our first cruise with them on the Oosterdam to Alaska in late June ... omg, and are we ever hooked!! Thought the food overall was top notch! Really enjoyed sharing our evening meal with other people, lots of fun! We actually get 2 free bag checks each on our flight this time so I will probably over pack just because I can. Already planning #3 for next May.

We would definitely take a longer cruise to some place new (ie Australia)
