Cruise ships do not have irons and ironing boards in cabins.
The Coast Guard considers them a fire hazard.

There is no self-service laundry on the Noordam, just the usual laundry service. They provide a bag in your cabin which you can fill with as much as you can fit for a set fee. I never put anything in there that is delicate or special, just the usual undies, tee shirts, slacks, etc. It's a bargain and it comes back nicely on hangers or folded. A treat. I don't cruise to do laundry.
