How Much?
How do you rent one?
Is it yours to use 24/7 for the entire week?
Are there any perks that come with it?
Is there the expectation to purchase a certain amount of alcohol?
Will others try to use your cabana when you are not there? If so, can you kick them out?
Are there any other perks?
Finally, is it worth it?

I am assuming you mean the cabanas on Half Moon Cay?
Of course, they are only rented for the day you are on HMC. You rent them in advance on the shore excursion site. They usually sell out quickly!
Check out our review and pics at HAL Half Moon Cay Cabana for lots of information on the HMC cabanas.
I know some ships were offering clam shells by the pool, for sale for the week, at first that's what came to mind with your question.....I would bet soeone sitting in your could get sketchy...but....
We rented a cabana on HMC when the cost was $219.00..we split it with friends...we had the orange one, which was close to the food pavillion, and the rest rooms. I think the cost is $299.00 now,and unless the cost is being shared, I don't think it's worth it. It's a small wooden bungalow with a deck and a small back room that was air conditioned, with table and chairs...our bungalow butler was slightly lacking in the service dept.
The buffet that day, was minimal compared to others we learned, and it was pretty basic and not memorable at all...book quickly if you want one.

My question is about the cabanas on the ship. I thought I had read about that through my planning (but then forgot about it).
I wouldn't want to pay for a cabana on HMC (too much $$$). but if the price were right .... I might consider the luxury of always having a seat by the pool.

Here is what someone posted to me on the M&G thread, which got me wondering about this again:

I have found something here that I didn't on the HollAm site; they offer cabanas, reserving a space for you near the pool. Apparently several people have said it was the best money they ever spent ... $199 for a week. A bunch of perks go with the deal.
Hope you have a great cruise. I know I'm looking forward to this cruise more than any other!!!

Reading a bit about the cabana's it seems there is a space issue ofr anyone trying to get around the lido....On a sea day, this could be a real pain....That said, it could be great.. what else comes along, beside a permanent seat?

then click on "Our Ships", scroll down & click on Eurodam. Under "Overview" click on "View ms Eurodam slide show". The 2nd slide is a picture of a cabana. They are situated on either side of the pool in the middle of the ship under the dome.
It's like a big round circular lounge with curtains separating you from your neighbour.

Reason: forgot the www
I went to the HAL website looking for info (saw the pic!) but coudl not find any. I called and got a bit of information.
The cabanas can be booked through guest services at a rate of $75 per sea day or $45 per port day. I sent an email inquiring about availability and what you get.
I was told it includes things like water, fruit, chocoalte covered strawberries, ice cream, and a few other things (that is why I sent the email -hoping I get a full response).
I'll post back with more info, once I get it.
