Has anyone cruised recently on the Veendam and if so were you happy with your choice of the ship ?

Friends of ours will be on the Veendam in May/June -NYC to Bermuda .

I sailed on the Veendam from NY to Bermuda last summer. Dig around a bit on the HAL board and you'll find my Virtual Cruise Report from the ship.

We sailed on the Veendam last August. It was one of my favorites ever! What a wonderful cruise.

I was on the veendam about a year and a half ago and loved it. Rooms were big, crew was great. Food was great. HA actually lets you tour the kitchens and that was wonderful. No complaints-only they were trying to switch to open dining and those people that didn't have a set table were having to wait a long time in order to be seated-so choosing your dining time ahead is a plus.

I cruise on the Veendam to the Caribbean and it was a great ship. You will have a great time.

This is the one cruiseship that can dock in downtown Hamilton, Bermuda.
So if Bermuda is your destination this ship should be your first choice.
