Does anyone know how much it is for a day pass on the Vaporetta in Venice. We were there 4 years ago but I am sure it is more now. We only want to get to th Piazza San Marco, have heard you can walk but not sure that is possible.

I just returned from Venice two days ago so the info I have is as accurate as you can get. The 16hr pass is 16 euros, the 24hr pass is 18 euros, the 36hr pass is 23 euros and the 48hr pass is 28 euros. We got the 48 hr one and loved it. It got us all over venice without having to stand in line to buy tickets. We bought ours at P Roma but there are other places in town to buy them. It even covered the public bus to the airport. It was great being able to just hop on the boats whenever your wanted.
